Mathematics Teacher at Montessori School Meyrin Montessori School Meyrin, located in the Geneva region, is looking for a mathematics teacher for our 12-15 year old class, lower secondary level.

• Workload: approximately 4 hours of teaching per week

As a Mathematics teacher, your responsibilities include:

• Taking charge of the mathematics for the 12-15 year old class.
• Offering teaching from the 9CO to 11CO curriculum by providing real-life connections that help young people understand and enjoy mathematics
• Ensuring that the PER objectives are met
• Sharing the child’s progress with parents

We are looking for a mathematics teacher with:

• A work ethic and values corresponding to the well-being of adolescents in their third developmental stage
• A team spirit and collaborative attitude
• Enthusiasm, a willingness to take initiatives and see them through, a passion for mathematics and a desire to share this with their students

Job requirements:

• Degree in mathematics or science teaching
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a secondary school class
• Native French speaker. Intermediate communication in English is an advantage.
• Swiss work permit or EU citizen
