About the job
The Vivendra Foundation offers over 250 people of all ages with disabilities various attractive services in the areas of learning, living, sheltered work, day structure, and leisure. Our employees are committed and qualified professionals who are motivated to enable the best possible participation and inclusion. We offer modern working conditions and maintain an open leadership style.
For the establishment and management of our new, foundation-wide Agogics & Health Specialist Unit, we are looking for an expert, creative, and networked personality to start immediately or by arrangement. The specialist unit reports directly to the executive management and strengthens professional quality, health safety, and cross-departmental collaboration throughout the foundation. Your remit includes the areas of children & youth, school, boarding school, therapies, adult living, day centres, enterprises, as well as services & integration.
What you can achieve with us
- Establishing and leading the new Agogics & Health Specialist Unit with a foundation-wide professional mandate as well as managing an existing team of specialist professionals.
- Coordinating and further developing the seven thematic areas: reporting and complaints office, aggression management, sexual education, supported communication / intensive interaction, kinaesthetics, medical responsibility, and care material management.
- Taking on the professional lead: capturing topics and concepts, recognising connections, setting priorities, and developing practical solutions together with the specialist professionals.
- Developing concepts, standards, processes, and work tools as well as supporting their sustainable implementation in collaboration with the departments.
- Advising and supporting managers, teams, and professionals on complex agogic and health-related issues.
- Managing cross-departmental specialist projects, reviewing impact and quality, and deriving concrete improvement measures.
- Close collaboration with executive management, line managers, as well as internal and external specialists, and representing Vivendra in relevant professional networks.
What you bring with you
- Degree in social pedagogy HF/FH or an equivalent pedagogical qualification, ideally complemented by further training in leadership, counselling, health, or quality management.
- Several years of professional experience in supporting people with disabilities, ideally in complex institutional settings.
- Experience in professional leadership, counselling, as well as project and process management, and the ability to effectively link conceptual work with practice.
- In-depth expertise in at least one of the seven thematic areas and the ability to familiarise yourself with other fields and concepts and quickly grasp connections.
- Enjoy working at interfaces and bringing together different professional competences. You do not need to be an expert in all topics; what matters is providing orientation and working with the specialist professionals to implement effective solutions.
- Independent and structured working style, strong communication skills, and a person-centred, opportunity- and solution-oriented attitude.
- You gladly take responsibility, can consistently set priorities even with a wide range of topics, and appreciate developing a specialist unit over a longer establishment phase, thereby providing important impulses for the foundation.
How we inspire you
- Newly created key position with plenty of scope for design and the opportunity to shape the specialist unit from the outset.
- An existing team of specialist professionals and a wide variety of topics that allow for much creativity while requiring conscious prioritisation and balancing within the team.
- Close collaboration with executive management and the management team, short decision-making paths, and an open culture of addressing each other informally.
- At least five weeks of holiday plus time off on your birthday and public holidays.
- Attractive social benefits and various discounts.
- Contribution to fitness subscription as well as free coffee, tea, water, and fruit.
- Free parking spaces.
