Thanks to high competencies in customer consulting, service, and a powerful manufactory, it occupies a leading position in its niche. IT System Administrator and Application Manager (80–100 %)

As part of your induction, you will be familiarised with the company and the business processes in the various departments. In parallel, you will get to know the external IT partners and the existing applications. Internally, you coordinate the needs of the employees in close collaboration with the external IT service partner. You can expect short decision-making paths and an appreciative, unbureaucratic working atmosphere with flat hierarchies. With IT responsibility in the company, you report directly to the CFO.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the operation and ongoing development of the IT system landscape
• Support, optimisation and expansion of IT tools, applications and interfaces
• Coordination and assignment of tasks to external IT partners across all support levels as well as ensuring 2nd-level support
• Management and implementation of IT and organisational projects
• Creation and maintenance of process, system and IT documentation
• Support and training of employees in the use of IT systems
• Close collaboration with the specialist departments and acting as a link between business, IT and external partners
• Management of IT hardware and the associated infrastructure

Your Profile

• Completed training in computer science or business informatics, for example as an IT specialist EFZ, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the IT environment, ideally as an application manager or in a comparable role, preferably in an SME or a manufacturing company
• Experience with ERP systems as well as a good understanding of applications, interfaces, data flows and business processes
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, network technologies and server administration
• Knowledge of CRM, production or infrastructure processes is an advantage
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong sense of responsibility as well as a service-oriented hands-on mentality
• Ability to explain technical contexts clearly, combined with a patient and user-oriented manner
• Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language; English skills are an advantage
