About the job
Microdul AG in Zurich City specialises in high-quality microelectronics with around 100 employees across three business areas: Modules, Semiconductors and Thick Film. Our core competence lies in the development and production of miniaturised electronic circuits, realised in close collaboration with our customers - mainly in medical technology. We are looking for a new team member for the assembly department by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Populating printed circuit boards using machines including setup and changeover (SMD technology)
- Preparation and processing of placement data for the SMD placement process
- Carrying out reflow soldering processes
- Printing substrates with solder paste or adhesive using screen and stencil printing methods
- Performing inline inspections with the binocular microscope according to IPC-A-610 guidelines
- Loading components and materials into the machines and ensuring correct alignment.
- Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and efficiency, including performing visual inspections and quality controls
- Maintenance and cleaning of SMD equipment
Who We Are Looking For
- Basic knowledge of electronics and familiarity with PCB assembly.
- Experience with soldering techniques reflow/SMD soldering.
- You hold a valid IPC-A-610 soldering certificate and have several years of experience working with the binocular microscope
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Good English skills in oral communication
- Excellent manual dexterity and very good fine motor skills
- High reliability, independence and a careful working style
- Experience in fault analysis and process optimisation
- Experience in maintenance and servicing of production machines (advantageous)
- Experience working under cleanroom conditions (advantageous)
