You can contribute to this role

• Further develop digital surveillance systems for communicable diseases through concepts and models of health data
• Define, implement and further develop health data standards and terminologies (e.g. HL7 FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC)
• Develop information models, data exchange formats and professional regulations for national surveillance
• Translate professional requirements into technical specifications, standards, system configurations and parameterisations

What makes you unique

• Master's degree or bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience in natural sciences, e.g. biology, bioengineering, medical informatics or a comparable field
• Experience with health data standards, interoperability, data modelling or digitalisation projects in healthcare
• Experience in public health, especially in the context of surveillance and control of communicable diseases
• Active knowledge of two official languages and, if possible, passive knowledge of the third official language
