Payroll Expert 80% – 100% (m/f/d)
Your role
You are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting various administrative tasks. In doing so, you contribute significantly to the smooth running of our payroll processes and compliance with legal requirements within our organisation.
Your areas of responsibilityPayroll administration
Collecting, processing, and verifying payroll data.Managing processes related to taxes, social security, health insurance, and work permits.Ensuring timely and legally compliant payment of wages according to Swiss legislation.Assisting with audits, unemployment matters, and reports related to payroll.Collaborating with the finance department to reconcile payroll-related accounts.Careful maintenance and archiving of payroll documents.Preparing payroll reports for management.
System and process support
Collaborating with internal and external payroll service providers.Suggesting and implementing improvements to optimise payroll processes.Testing and managing system changes in cooperation with the IPS coordinator.
Pension fund administration
Managing employee registrations and deregistrations with pension funds and reviewing invoices.Analysing and resolving discrepancies in pension-related data.
Compliance and communication
Keeping up to date with Swiss payroll legislation and informing relevant stakeholders accordingly.Supporting the HR team with payroll queries and complex issues.Effective communication with all relevant stakeholders.
Your profileEducation and experience
Swiss payroll certification is mandatory, complemented by a university degree or equivalent qualification.At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration or HR, ideally in retail.
Skills and attributes
Very good English skills; fluent French and good German skills are advantageous.Excellent Excel skills and experience with payroll/HR systems.Strong numerical and detail orientation as well as excellent organisational and analytical skills.Proactive, team-oriented personality with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
