At the beginning of 2027, we are looking for a new

Head of Department "Mediation and Conflict Culture"

In this role, you are responsible for the conception, organisation, and further development of the training programmes of the department. You will work with five other heads of department and the administration team and actively help shape our lively, self-organised institute.

You bring a basic education in law, psychology, social sciences, pedagogy, or a comparable qualification as well as recognition as a mediator by the FSM. In addition to several years of experience as a mediator, you also have experience as a lecturer or adult educator. You are well connected in the mediation landscape, have an interest in relevant professional politics, and in the conception and development of initial and further training. Furthermore, you are flexible enough to carry out this role on a part-time basis of about 30% alongside other work. This is complemented by a role as a lecturer within the FSM-recognised mediation course. Your working style is characterised by independence, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking and action.
