Monitoring Engineer (m/f)
Your area of responsibility- As a Monitoring Engineer, you are part of the Automation & Monitoring team and are responsible for the conception, setup, and operation of monitoring solutions for our customers
- You take over the operation of our Managed Monitoring Service and ensure its reliable and continuous operation
- You work with modern monitoring and observability platforms (e.g. PRTG, Elastic, Graylog) and ensure that infrastructures and services are reliably monitored
- You create and maintain sensors, dashboards, alerts, and reports and ensure that our customers keep an overview of their IT
- You independently and responsibly carry out projects and work hand in hand with the team on larger undertakings
- You drive the automation of recurring monitoring tasks forward (e.g. via PowerShell and Python)
- You actively contribute to the further development of solutions & services for ITRIS One
- The customer and their added value are your top priority in your work
Your profile
- You have completed vocational training in the field of computer science or an equivalent education or further training
- You bring several years of experience in one or more of the following areas: client/server, virtualisation, monitoring, log analysis, backup and storage solutions, Microsoft Azure, IT process automation
- You are a service-oriented team player and enjoy dealing with customers
- You are interested in training and further education and motivated to familiarise yourself with new areas
- The "view beyond the horizon" inspires you
- German and English spoken and written are no problem
- You are well organised and can carry out projects independently
- You hold a category B driving licence and are flexible for our locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
