How you can contribute
- Advise customers in the Operations Command on all ICT topics and actively help shape long-term strategies
- Lead smaller ICT projects, participate in and plan larger ones, and budget the need for IT services (hardware and software)
- Coordinate and implement ICT guidelines, training and standards in collaboration with technically subordinate superusers
- Ensure rapid and competent problem resolution and guarantee the availability of ICT resources according to Service Level Agreements and service contracts
- Prepare, test and carry out system changes (hardware and software) according to applicable guidelines
What makes you unique
- University of applied sciences or university degree (FH, ETH, Uni - Bachelor/Master) in computer science or comparable education
- ITC Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) is an advantage
- Sound knowledge in requirements engineering and experience working with business analysis teams
- Analytical and networked thinking as well as high customer and service orientation
- Independent, goal-oriented and quality-conscious working style
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and good oral and written knowledge of a second official language

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police. Around 40% of the approximately 2,500 employees are civilians – from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.
The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
