Type of Work

In this demanding position, you are responsible for the operation, further development and optimisation of modern network and security platforms. You play an important role in ensuring a stable, scalable and highly available infrastructure, thereby making a significant contribution to the success of the Managed Services organisation.

Your main tasks include the design, implementation and operation of network and security solutions in modern data centre and public cloud environments. You actively participate in infrastructure projects and accompany new services from planning through introduction to operational operation.

Furthermore, you take on the technical responsibility for selected technology areas, support complex incident and problem analyses and contribute your expert knowledge to sustainable fault resolution. You further develop technical standards and architecture guidelines and help shape modern and future-proof infrastructure platforms.

Another focus of your activity lies in actively shaping a modern DevOps culture. In doing so, you work closely with internal specialists and customers and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, services and automation solutions.

Requirements Profile

For this challenge, you have a training or degree in computer science (HF/FH) or a comparable qualification. You bring sound knowledge in the planning, implementation and operation of network and security infrastructures and have practical experience in data centre or cloud environments.

Ideally, you have good knowledge in the areas of routing, switching, WLAN, VPN and firewall technologies. Experience with automation and scripting is also welcome, as is know-how in modern hybrid cloud architectures.

You are characterised by an analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working. As a customer-oriented personality, you appreciate teamwork and bring the motivation to actively further develop innovative technologies. Very good German skills as well as good English skills complete your profile.
