Your tasks

• Together with our interdisciplinary treatment team, you care for patients with subacute psychological and social problems in the day clinic setting and actively participate in their individual treatment.
• After thorough training, you will lead occupational therapy group sessions in the day clinic setting and guide patients in a structured manner throughout the entire therapy process.
• In the inpatient acute psychiatric setting, you will take on occupational therapy treatments in the gerontopsychiatric area in various individual and group therapies and contribute your expertise specifically to the treatment.
• As part of a dedicated interdisciplinary treatment team, you support patients with psychiatric illnesses and related health issues and assist them specifically with their social and professional reintegration.
• Your versatile daily work covers the entire spectrum of psychiatric disorders and offers you the opportunity to apply your occupational therapy expertise in different treatment contexts and to coordinate closely with other departments and referring agencies.

Your profile

• You have completed training as an occupational therapist HF/FH and hold a professional practice permit from the canton of St.Gallen or meet the requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• Ideally, you have professional experience in adult and/or gerontopsychiatry as well as experience conducting group therapies and enjoy a varied range of tasks and respectful interaction with patients.
• Interest in conducting ZEPS groups (Experiencing Belonging, Creating Perspectives) with a focus on social participation and daily activities is an advantage.
• Creativity, enthusiasm for innovation, design skills, and the motivation to actively further develop therapy offerings and treatment pathways characterise your working style.

Your salary

Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between CHF 77,000 and CHF 112,000 per year.

On the first day, you will be onboarded with your new team and other colleagues. You will set up your new workplace and get an overview of your upcoming tasks. You will also receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
