Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Contributes to achieving or exceeding sales figures and KPI targets by:
• Building an emotional connection with customers and living the brand values
• Serving customers, selling and conscientiously managing store operations
Responsibilities:
• Knows the store goals and individual targets and actively works to achieve or exceed them, using all available resources
• Meets or exceeds customer expectations and drives sales as well as brand awareness by applying appropriate elements of the Customer Guiding Principles
• Builds an emotional bond with every customer by acting as a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador
• Actively incorporates basic knowledge and facts about seasonal products into the service approach in their store area
• Maintains an appealing, pleasant environment where customers enjoy shopping, paying attention to visual merchandising as well as order and cleanliness
• Adheres to the rules and procedures (SOM regulations) applicable to the store and maintains a safe shopping and working atmosphere
• Ensures product availability for customers by assisting when goods are delivered and the sales floor needs replenishing
• Minimises losses by always monitoring stock levels when serving customers
• Trains new employees (if applicable)
• Works productively and respectfully with team members to achieve or exceed store goals
• Completes all required training programmes and successfully applies them in their work
• Demonstrates continuous willingness to learn and uses all offered opportunities to advance their development and improve their performance
• Cash register duties (if applicable) o Ensures correct payment processes including careful handling of goods o Performs cash register closings carefully o Completes sales quickly and accurately and adheres to prescribed guidelines for securing cash (if applicable)
• Endless Aisle (if applicable) Informs customers about the new ordering/sales option in the online shop and uses the Endless Aisle tablet to offer product descriptions and/or customer feedback on products during the sales process.
• Click & Collect (if applicable) Monitors and oversees new online orders placed by online customers that need to be reserved, packed and handed over to the customer in-store.
• Ship from Store (if applicable) Monitors and oversees new online orders that need to be shipped to customers.

Required Education and Experience / Minimum Requirements:
• 0-3 years retail experience
• Training as a sales assistant desirable
• Basic English skills
• Basic spelling and arithmetic skills, communication ability
