What to expect

Our internal IT is the backbone for nearly 550 employees at 6 locations. Together with a small, well-coordinated team, you ensure that everyone can work productively at all times, from onboarding a new laptop to operating our server and cloud environment. You are close to the people: you are the central contact person for questions about internal IT and directly experience the impact of your work. At the same time, you have plenty of scope to further develop our heterogeneous infrastructure and take responsibility for your own topics. Specifically, this means:

• Support in the daily business of internal IT

  • Ensuring operational IT operations & optimisation of the internal infrastructure

  • Maintaining tickets and participating in incident, request, problem and change management
• Maintenance and expansion of our modern, heterogeneous IT infrastructure

  • Participation in projects both in conception and implementation

  • Taking responsibility for defined products
  • Taking on daily duties and maintenance work

What you bring

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ (system technology or platform development) and several years of professional experience in system administration
• Sound knowledge in the Microsoft environment: Active Directory and Entra ID, Exchange (Online), SharePoint, Teams
• Experience with macOS (ideally Jamf as MDM) and Linux
• Practical experience with server virtualisation, regardless of manufacturer (e.g. VMware vSphere, Proxmox)
• Solid network fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, firewalling as well as DNS and DHCP
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence or comparable ITSM and documentation tools
• Basic understanding of containerisation, e.g. with Docker or Kubernetes

  • Container platforms
  • Veeam Backup & Replication

To support our internal IT, we are looking for an IT System Specialist with broad knowledge in support, clients, Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. The activities require an IT EFZ qualification, proven professional experience, fluent German and English in spoken and written form, flexibility, commitment and enjoyment in contact with our employees.
