For our client in Zurich, an established and professionally specialised company in the field of fire protection, we are looking for a committed individual as a Fire Protection Engineer 80-100%.
We are not only looking for a trained fire protection specialist. Architects, civil engineers and professionals from the construction or real estate sector also have the opportunity here to specifically develop further in fire protection.
Fire Protection Engineer 80-100% (a), Zurich
What you will achieve with our client:
You will work on demanding new builds and conversions as well as complex existing buildings and develop practical fire protection solutions together with experienced project managers and specialists.
- Participation in fire protection and smoke extraction concepts
- Creating and processing fire protection plans, CAD drawings and documentation
- Accompanying quality controls on construction sites as well as appointments with authorities and project participants
- Supporting the implementation of fire protection measures up to commissioning
- Assistance with coordination and project management
- Opportunity for professional specialisation, e.g. in smoke extraction, simulations, engineering verifications or integral tests
- With increasing experience, taking on own projects and areas of responsibility
What you bring:
- Education/studies at HF, FH, ETH or university in architecture, civil engineering, building services engineering, security & safety engineering or comparable
- Fire protection specialist VKF or willingness to develop in this direction
- Good technical and planning understanding
- Structured, independent and quality-conscious working style
- Enjoyment of teamwork and customer contact
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
Career changers from architecture, civil engineering, building services engineering or real estate are also expressly welcome. What matters is technical understanding, willingness to learn and interest in fire protection.
Your development in fire protection
Our client has its own academy and supports you specifically in your professional development. You will gain practical experience in demanding projects from the start and be accompanied by experienced specialists.
The corresponding certification exams will be possible again from 2028 in the current training path; no exam is planned for 2027. However, your professional development and practical work in fire protection begins as soon as you start.
