You can contribute to this role

• Further develop the digital surveillance systems for communicable diseases through conception, modelling and integration of health data
• Design, implement and optimise digital reporting and data exchange processes between health actors and the national surveillance and control systems
• Analyse health information systems (e.g. LIS, KIS, PIS) as well as model and parameterise data flows, interfaces and exchange formats
• Apply and further develop interoperability standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC) and translate professional requirements into technical solutions

What makes you unique

• University degree in health informatics, medical informatics, bioengineering, or a comparable field
• Experience with health information systems (LIS, KIS, PIS), data exchange or digitalisation projects in healthcare
• Knowledge of interoperability standards and data exchange formats (e.g. HL7 FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC) as well as the ability to translate professional requirements into technical solutions
• Active knowledge of two official languages and, if possible, passive knowledge of the third official language

You make a direct contribution to the modernisation of communicable disease surveillance in Switzerland. With your expertise, you shape the digitalisation of central surveillance systems and create the basis for timely, high-quality and efficient use of health data to protect the population.
