About the job
The Admissions and Credit Transfer Office team consists of ten employees and is responsible from the first contact to the start of studies. In the admissions area, we inform prospective students and independently review applications at all study levels both formally and substantively. In the credit transfer area, we check the formal and substantive creditability of exchange achievements and inform students about the processes and framework conditions.
Your tasks
- Formal and substantive examination of national and international prior qualifications for admission at all study levels
- Processing enquiries related to admissions, study changes, and transfers
- Independent evaluation of application dossiers based on specified criteria
- Formal and substantive examination as well as implementation of credit transfer of external achievements according to applicable guidelines
- Independent correspondence with prospective students, applicants, and students as well as representation at information events for prospective students and regarding the credit transfer of external study achievements
- Participation in the optimisation of workflows and processes in the admissions and credit transfer area
Your profile
- Completed university degree in a discipline relevant to the function
- Very good language skills in German and English
- Analytical, efficient, and independent working style
- Structured and priority-oriented working style even in busy phases with high coordination needs
- Knowledge of the national and international education system is an advantage
