Role:

Good cloud environments are created through clean architecture and consistent automation. This is exactly where you come in as a Hybrid Cloud Engineer Azure & Microsoft 365. You migrate grown on-premises landscapes to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) and connect platform, identities, and workplace into a secure unit. Your toolbox ranges from Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to endpoint management.

Responsibilities:

• You plan transition projects to the Microsoft Cloud, implement them technically, and deploy Azure resources, platform services, and M365 services.

• You develop reusable Bicep templates and standardised deployments yourself. You automate recurring operational processes with PowerShell.

• Additionally, you operate Intune: device provisioning, configuration profiles, and compliance policies are in your hands.

• You secure the cloud with well-thought-out identity and access management and configure role models, conditional access, and app registrations in Entra ID.

• Furthermore, you design VNets, subnets, routing, and hybrid connections. You work closely with the network team on firewall and VPN integrations.

• You also standardise existing infrastructures through targeted refactorings and track down tricky faults across all components. You cleverly use AI for process optimisation.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of practical experience with Azure or M365 form your foundation, ideally including completed cloud migrations.

• You know the central building blocks from compute through networking to platform services and use IaC with Bicep routinely.

• You master identity topics such as role concepts, multi-factor authentication, and enterprise applications as well as modern security and governance concepts.

• You understand networks from DNS to VPN. Experience with Fortinet firewalls rounds off your profile.

• Furthermore, you work solution-oriented, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and keep a cool head even with complex error patterns.

• You also communicate confidently in German and read English documentation effortlessly. Microsoft certifications in Azure, Security, or Endpoint Management are a clear plus.
