How you can contribute

• Conducting disciplinary proceedings against persons obliged to perform civilian service and drafting disciplinary orders and criminal complaints (mainly in German)
• Assisting with administrative appeal procedures (drafting statements and revocation orders)
• Providing legal advice within the framework of internal legal counselling and clarifying legal questions in the context of digitalisation projects
• Participating in interdepartmental consultation and reporting procedures
• Assisting in the preparation of federal ordinances

Civilian Service – Implementation and Development

The ZIVI is part of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) and is responsible for admission to civilian service, the support of civilian service personnel (Zivis) and the deployment organisations. It enables persons who refuse military service for reasons of conscience to fulfil their service obligation.

Additional information

For admission to a university internship with the federal administration, your last degree must not be older than 18 months. The internship is limited to one year.
