Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist

As part of a replacement, the Directorate General for Digital and Information Systems (DGNSI) of the State of Vaud is seeking an IAM Security Specialist for a fixed-term assignment from 18 January to 31 July 2027.

Are you a specialist in information systems security with solid expertise in digital identity and access management (IAM)? Would you like to apply your skills to the information systems of the Vaud cantonal administration (ACV) and contribute to the protection of its data and digital infrastructures?

Join our team and actively participate in strengthening the security of the cantonal information system, managing risks, and continuously improving identity and access management processes.

• Information systems security and IAM: contribute to the implementation of security strategy and architecture standards, identify risks and recommend appropriate protection measures.
• Identity and access management: lead, coordinate and administer various campaigns for recertification of digital identities and their access rights, handle support requests within the IAG scope (identity and access governance) and contribute to improving associated processes.
• Risk management and compliance: participate in the operational implementation of the information security management system (ISMS), notably according to ISO 27001, as well as in risk assessment and treatment.
• Project support: provide security expertise during the development or acquisition of IT solutions, assess security requirements and contribute to integrating protection measures.
• Advice and awareness: support teams, advise specialists and raise awareness among staff about information security risks and best practices.
• Technological watch: monitor the evolution of threats, technologies and security standards, then share relevant information with the concerned teams.

• Federal diploma in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of experience in information systems security.
• Proven experience in managing digital identities and account and access lifecycle.
• Practical experience with an IAM solution and in managing authorisations and access rights.
• Experience in administration and management of Active Directory and MS Exchange objects.
• Good general knowledge of IT security: networks, applications, databases and middleware.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 standard and ideally experience in its implementation and maintaining compliance.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as CIS Controls and NIST.
• Knowledge of Linux, LDAP and PowerShell; familiarity with the EasyVista environment is an asset.
• A postgraduate degree in information security and a CISSP certification are desirable.
• English at B2 level and German at B1 level are desirable.
