Role:
IT landscapes are constantly evolving, and this is exactly where you come in as a Modern Workplace System Engineer. Customer environments based on Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure are in your hands. Between technical depth, project work, and personal customer contact, you will find just the right amount of variety. Those who work in a structured way and like to take responsibility will quickly feel at home in this position.
Responsibilities:
You continuously develop Windows Server environments as well as Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure landscapes for customers, from Exchange Online through Teams to SharePoint and Entra ID
You independently manage endpoints, from Autopilot through app deployment to compliance policies and conditional access
You actively contribute to IT outsourcing projects, such as migrations, transitions, or commissioning of new systems
You resolve complex cases in 2nd and 3rd level support and maintain runbooks and documentation meticulously
Additionally, you are the direct contact person for customers and participate in workshops and team events
Qualifications:
You bring several years of experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, especially in handling Exchange Online, Teams including Teams Voice, SharePoint, and Intune
You are well versed in Entra ID with conditional access, group policies, and hybrid scenarios
You are familiar with endpoint management via Intune, including Autopilot, app deployment, and configuration policies
Initial experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS as well as hybrid infrastructure concepts rounds off your profile
You automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset
You communicate confidently in German and can converse effortlessly in English with customers
