We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual as an Employee in Testing Technology (m/f/d) who will further develop and optimise our specialist department with expertise and leadership skills.

Your area of responsibility

• You conduct normative certification tests on cable glands and electrical installation products in the areas of mechanics, electronics, and environmental simulation
• You create initial sample test reports and document the results carefully and comprehensibly
• You monitor our measuring and testing equipment and organise the necessary calibrations
• You document your tests comprehensively – from logging to evaluation to analysis and interpretation of the recorded data.
• You familiarise yourself with the relevant standards and testing requirements and apply them confidently and purposefully in practice
• You participate in quality inspections and support testing tasks in incoming goods
• You carry out customer-specific tests and examinations and handle individual customer enquiries
• You work closely and interdisciplinarily with your colleagues from development, quality, purchasing, and intralogistics

Your profile

• Completed training as a physics laboratory technician EFZ or a comparable qualification
• Alternatively, a mechanical or technical basic training, e.g. as a polymechanic EFZ, ideally supplemented by further training in quality assurance or testing technology
• Experience in handling optical measuring and testing devices
• Good knowledge in analysing and evaluating measurement and test results
• Practical experience in a testing environment or certified laboratory is an advantage
• Knowledge of relevant standards in the field of cable glands and electrical installation products as well as experience with SAP is a plus
• Independent, careful, and structured working style with a high quality awareness
• Enjoyment of practical work in the laboratory and workshop as well as motivation to engage deeply with testing procedures and standards
• Team-oriented, reliable personality with technical interest and a hands-on mentality
