Jorns AG is an internationally successful family business with around 70 employees in the Oberaargau region. As a world market leader, we develop and manufacture bending machines and innovative solutions for fine sheet metal processing.
Due to a retirement, we are looking for a committed individual who wants to contribute their expertise, take responsibility, and shape the future together with us.
Your tasks
- Deputise for the team leader manufacturing and support in daily operational business
- CAM programming with TopSolid as well as programming in ISO code and Heidenhain dialog
- Independent setup, programming, and optimisation of manufacturing processes
- Manufacture of large components, gauges, and fixtures on modern 5- to 6-axis machining centres
- Planning, control, and continuous optimisation of production processes
- Responsibility for tools, operating resources, and material disposition
- Ensuring our high quality standards through first-piece and random sample inspections
- Support in maintaining our modern machine park
- Professional guidance and training of our apprentices in CNC milling and CAM
Your profile
- Training as a certified polymechanic (EFZ)
- Several years of professional experience in CNC manufacturing, ideally in the area of large parts
- Sound knowledge in CAM programming, preferably with TopSolid
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility and promoting employees and apprentices
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
