IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

Your impact as System Engineer & Technical Sales:

• You proactively support our existing customers and continuously develop customer relationships.
• You identify customer needs, optimisation potentials and additional sales opportunities.
• You provide technical advice to our customers and develop suitable solutions around Apple, Microsoft, Synology, Zyxel and Cisco.
• You develop solution concepts, calculation bases and offers in close cooperation with the sales team.
• You present technical solutions and accompany customers from the first consultation to successful completion.
• You plan, install, configure and support client, server, NAS and network solutions.
• You take on the technical management of customer projects - from implementation through handover to complete documentation.
• You analyse and resolve technical faults via remote maintenance or directly at the customer and handle 2nd-level tickets.
• You ensure transparent and professional communication with customers regarding faults, projects and operational notifications.
• You monitor new technologies and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our solution and service portfolio.

Why you will be successful:

• Completed apprenticeship in IT system technology EFZ or equivalent
• Very strong customer and service orientation
• Work experience in this field of at least 2-4 years
• Experience in macOS, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Exchange, Windows Virtual Desktop, Windows Server infrastructure
• Practical experience with operating systems such as Windows Client and Server is essential
• Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage
• Solid network knowledge (DHCP, DNS, VPN etc.) as well as experience in security
• Specialist knowledge as a Synology specialist is essential
• Specialist knowledge as a Zyxel and Cisco specialist is essential
• Experience with Mobile Device Management systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills to handle complex issues and find systematic and quick solutions
• Enjoy contributing your own ideas and boldly taking initiative
• Enjoyment of new technologies and willingness for continuous development
• Ability to simplify complex technical circumstances for less tech-savvy people
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
• Strong sales flair, convincing appearance and enjoyment of consultation-intensive customer discussions
• Ability to recognise customer needs and business potentials and translate them into technically and economically suitable solutions
• Experience in creating and presenting solution concepts, offers and decision bases is an advantage
