The Position in the Spotlight
As a sales professional for lighting solutions, you take on a central role at the interface between customer, planning, and project management. You further develop existing customer relationships, win new projects, and accompany your solutions with technical know-how and sales strength until successful completion. In doing so, you combine market understanding and initiative with a confident sense of your customers' requirements, creating sustainable added value for both sides.
Responsibilities in this Job
- Develop customers: You specifically manage and develop your customer portfolio – from electrical installers to architects, builders, and general contractors.
- Win projects: You acquire new lighting projects and accompany tenders until successful completion.
- Sell solutions: You advise customers on lighting solutions and product innovations and support them with on-site planning.
- Take responsibility: You independently manage your projects and keep an eye on turnover, contribution margin, and calculation.
- Coordinate collaboration: You ensure smooth communication with administration, lighting planning, scheduling, and accounting.
- Shape the market: You observe the market and competition and use trade fairs, events, and customer training specifically for business development.
Knowledge & Experience
- Technical foundation: You have training in the electrical field or a comparable qualification; alternatively, commercial training with several years of sales experience.
- Lighting expertise: You are familiar with luminaires as well as lighting management and emergency lighting systems and have basic knowledge of IT and network technology.
- Sales experience: You enjoy selling, are customer-oriented, and present yourself confidently and assertively.
- Self-responsibility: You work independently, in a structured manner, and keep an overview even under high workload.
- Result orientation: You think entrepreneurially, recognise opportunities, and take responsibility for your results.
- Communication skills: You communicate fluently in German and well in English.
