Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the planning, management, and further development of HBL's project portfolio
- Prioritisation and evaluation of projects in close coordination with the executive management, taking into account strategy, benefits, risks, dependencies, and resources
- Ongoing review and active management of the portfolio as well as preparation of decisions to start, stop, or postpone projects
- Ensuring target achievement at the portfolio level (budget, deadlines, quality) and consistent follow-up of measures
- Development and further enhancement of reliable portfolio reporting, including monitoring and management impulses
- Conducting regular status and quality reviews with project managers (including plausibility checks of status, forecasts, and resolution of goal conflicts)
- Professional leadership and methodological support of project managers through clear standards and regular status reviews
- Central contact person for various stakeholders as well as active and target-group-appropriate communication across different hierarchical levels
- Coordination with suppliers and implementation partners regarding roadmaps, capacities, and delivery commitments as well as escalation in case of priority deviations
- Close collaboration with those responsible for change request, test, and release management to ensure a smooth delivery process
What You Bring
- Several years of experience in project or project portfolio management with proven management responsibility
- Very good user knowledge of Jira, ideally in the context of portfolio and project management
- Strong analytical thinking skills and a good understanding of business contexts
- High personal responsibility as well as the ability to proactively drive topics forward and demand decisions
- Openness and flexibility in dealing with changing requirements and priorities
- Strong quality standards for your own work as well as for decision bases and results
- Networked thinking, structured working style, and enjoyment of complex issues
- Very good communication skills and confident appearance at all hierarchical levels
