About the job
In Geneva, a new centre dedicated to the production and dissemination of digital arts and cultures is taking shape in a renovated former industrial hall. The venue will bring together digital artists and creators as well as a broad public around exhibitions, performances and events, with a gradual opening from 2027. Supported by its own Founding Council and a General and Artistic Management, the project is currently building the team that will support it. To structure its administrative, financial and HR management, the foundation has commissioned us to find its future
Administration Manager (80%)
Take part in the launch of a new venue dedicated to digital arts and cultures in Geneva
Your responsibilities
Reporting to the General and Artistic Management, you will be responsible for the administrative, financial and HR management of the venue. You will prepare the annual budget, monitor it with the accounting service provider and develop an internal control system adapted to a growing structure. You will manage liquidity and funding flows, and prepare financial statements and reports for the management and the Founding Council. On the ground, you will structure the administrative deployment of the bar and ticketing, anticipate insurance issues related to public reception and the presentation of works, and ensure compliance of public spaces and resident structures and artists. You will manage payroll variables as well as the monitoring of temporary teams and freelancers mobilised during events, contribute to the venue's HR policy and ensure social compliance of files. You will monitor contracts and agreements, provide transversal administrative support to programming and production teams, and play an active role in structuring management processes and tools that will evolve with the organisation.
Your profile
With higher education in finance, accounting, management control or HR administration, you have at least five years of proven experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in the cultural, associative sector or within a foundation. You master the administrative management of a public venue, including ticketing and reception, and have already supervised temporary teams or freelancers in Switzerland. Rigorous and organised, you know how to anticipate the challenges of a developing structure and identify difficulties before they become emergencies. An interest in digital arts and cultures is a plus. Your strength lies above all in your rigour, organisational skills and quality of reception.
Based in Geneva, you are available on site and have a perfect command of French and English. Knowledge of German is an asset.
