Social Pedagogue / Social Worker (m,f,d) 80-100%, temporary for approx. 3 months, Justice Sector

Introduction

In this exceptional role within the correctional system, you combine social work, counselling, and integration in a responsible environment. For our client in the Canton of Zurich, we are seeking a committed and resilient individual who combines professional competence with empathy, assertiveness, and social skills.

Responsibilities

• Advising and supporting individuals in the correctional system with personal, social, and administrative matters.
• Promoting existing resources and supporting individual development and integration processes.
• Planning, organising, and accompanying measures for social stabilisation and reintegration.
• Writing reports, statements, and documentation within the execution process.
• Preparing and coordinating execution relaxations as well as release and integration planning.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal specialists, authorities, and external network partners.

Profile

• Completed degree in Social Work FH, Social Pedagogy HF, or a comparable recognised qualification.
• Professional experience dealing with people with mental illnesses, addiction disorders, or complex life situations.
• High social competence, empathy, and the ability to balance professional closeness and distance.
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and additional language skills are an advantage.
• Confident use of MS Office 365 and digital working tools.
