Your Tasks
- Leading and shaping a team that delivers support services in a service-oriented manner with mutual cooperation and enjoyment
- Leading, analysing, designing and innovatively further developing departmental support processes
- Strategic-conceptual development of solutions, structures and decision-making bases
- Recognising the needs of employees and students and deriving appropriate measures
- Coordinating and optimising collaboration with internal and external units such as Marketing & Communications, HR, Controlling/Finance, Facilities, Reception, Canteen team, etc.
- Ensuring that support processes optimally support education, research, further education and services
- Close exchange and collaboration with the department management as well as the project management for departmental and organisational development
- Representing the department in higher-level committees
- Compiling important decision-making bases, data sets and analyses
- Further developing our external appearance as well as our acquisition and positioning activities
Your Profile
- University degree, ideally further training in processes and organisation
- At least 3 years of experience in process analysis and design
- Knowledge of how universities operate
- Agile, proactive personality with high empathy and a strong desire to shape
- Enjoyment of open questions as well as building, development and change work
- Ability to create orientation and set priorities even in not yet fully defined structures
- Strategic and conceptual thinking combined with pragmatic implementation strength
- Communicative, solution- and service-oriented, independent and structured
- Proven competence in applying methods of collegial leadership as well as Scrum and Lean approaches
- Confident use of moderation, participation and evaluation methods
- High affinity for digital tools and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
