About the job

As a Support Engineer, you support our subsidiaries and internal departments with technical questions regarding our diabetes care products. You analyse complex issues, coordinate solutions with various stakeholders, and contribute to the reliable and customer-oriented further development of our products.

You work at the interface between support, software development, product maintenance, and other technical departments. In doing so, you combine technical understanding with a structured, solution-oriented approach and enjoy collaborating in an international environment.

Your main tasks

Support our subsidiaries in 2nd-level support

Analyse complex technical issues and coordinate solution finding within 3rd-level support

Collaborate with software engineers and other departments within problem and change management

Coordinate the implementation of changes and improvements

Clarify technical feasibility and assess impacts and dependencies

Involve experts from other departments and lead technical discussions with relevant stakeholders

Ensure clear communication and sustainable knowledge transfer in product maintenance

Document solutions, technical insights, and relevant product changes

Support the continuous improvement of support and product maintenance processes

Your profile

Education in computer science, electrical engineering, microtechnology, technician HF, or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in a comparable support, engineering, or technical coordination role

Experience in medical technology or a regulated environment is an advantage

Good knowledge in analysing and resolving technical issues

Experience collaborating with software development or in change and problem management

Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style

Strong communication and coordination skills

Enjoy explaining technical contexts clearly and sharing knowledge

Very good English and good German skills, both written and spoken
