Business Solution Architect

This is where you put your energy! In this key role, you operate at the interface of business, IT and OT. You ensure that our systems and applications for operational management run reliably, are secure, and are continuously developed. As the central contact person, you gather requirements, consider technical framework conditions, and successfully implement sustainable solutions in operation together with the relevant stakeholders. We are looking for two power individuals who not only want to take on this exciting task but also shape it.

What to expect

• You take overall responsibility for the applications in the operational management systems environment and ensure both stable operation and their continuous development.
• You collect, structure, and translate business requirements into technical solutions and interfaces – including accompanying the implementation. You have an interdisciplinary role and coordinate with various departments and suppliers.
• From idea to operation, you accompany IT and OT projects and actively contribute your expertise.
• As a central interface, you connect business requirements with IT, OT and electrical engineering, advise on complex issues, and coordinate the involved stakeholders.
• You ensure compliance with cyber security requirements, processes and quality standards, are responsible for documentation, and support inquiries, assessments and audits.
• You act as a coordination point for operational management, end users, security processes, as well as topics around emergency and business continuity management.

What you bring

• You have a degree at least at university of applied sciences level in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification and bring experience in the IT/OT environment.
• Fundamentals of electrical power supply and energy distribution are indispensable for this role and form the basis for understanding business processes and system landscape.
• You are proficient in requirements engineering as well as in the conception and further development of applications and interfaces.
• Technical IT and OT terms do not scare you and you can communicate with technical system specialists.
• You have project experience and a good understanding of operational processes.
• You are familiar with cyber security, IT standards and regulatory requirements, and you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
• You communicate appropriately in German, move confidently between business, IT and electrical engineering, and enjoy working with different stakeholders.
