Lecturer "Systems Engineering and Process Design" (60-100%)

Your tasks:

As a lecturer in the field of Systems Engineering and Process Design, you play a central role in teaching at the Institute for Business Engineering (IBE). You actively shape courses and contribute to preparing the next generation of industrial engineers for the challenges of the digital and networked economy.

Teaching in the Bachelor's degree programme in Industrial Engineering:

Conducting courses in the subject areas of systems theory, process design, digital business processes, operations management, digital corporate organisation, and project management
Leading the module group "Systems Thinking" as well as coordinating student projects in the 4th semester

Teaching in continuing education:

Participation in the CAS Project Management and MAS Business Engineering Management programmes
Possibly leading or co-leading selected continuing education offerings depending on workload

Your profile:

Completed Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field
Desirable: Master's degree from a university (e.g. Management, Technology and Economics, ETH) and ideally a doctorate
Solid expertise in Systems Engineering, especially in system and process design as well as project management
Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in industry or consulting, preferably with leadership experience or management of large projects
Experience in teaching is an advantage
Team-oriented, conceptually strong and proactive personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking with industry
