Role:
Stable platforms determine how quickly and securely software goes into production. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you shape exactly this foundation and take on the technical responsibility for a modern container platform based on OpenShift and Kubernetes. Your decisions sustainably influence architecture, toolchain, and standards. You act as a sparring partner for development, architecture, and IT security and gladly share your knowledge.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the architecture, operation, and strategic development of the OpenShift platform.
You design and establish scalable processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), GitOps, build, test, and release.
Furthermore, you define technical standards and best practices as well as requirements for security, compliance, and governance.
In complex incidents, you take technical leadership and ensure sustainable root cause analysis.
You evaluate new tools and platform services, drive the automation of the toolchain, and shape central technology decisions.
Additionally, you professionally support less experienced engineers and promote knowledge transfer within the organisation.
Qualifications:
You bring many years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes and modern container platforms distinguishes you.
You work confidently with CI/CD, Git, and tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, or TeamCity.
Additionally, you have solid experience with container registries like Harbor as well as with monitoring, logging, and observability, for example with Sentry or ELK.
You design stable and secure platform architectures and are well versed in security and compliance in the deployment environment.
Moreover, you convince through high technical ownership, decisiveness, and mentoring experience.
