The rustic Restaurant Stürmeierhuus is located in the heart of Schlieren, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The restaurant in the old half-timbered house accommodates 76 guests and features a terrace with around 60 seats. A cosy little room is ideal for smaller club events with up to 34 people. The first and second floors offer space for up to 125 people for banquets, corporate events, and celebrations. Families, locals, and businesspeople appreciate the traditional and honest cuisine.

The Stürmeierhuus restaurant belongs to the Arbeitskette Foundation and is an integration enterprise. The foundation has been operating catering businesses in Zurich and Schlieren since 1994. As an operational foundation with around 100 professionals, we are committed to the social and professional integration of apprentices and employees with disabilities and offer around 165 adapted training and work places.

Your tasks

• Together with the kitchen team, consisting of specialists, employees with disabilities, and apprentices, you take responsibility for your station
• Your duties include organising and planning the daily routine, including the procurement of goods
• You share responsibility for compliance with quality and hygiene standards
• It is advantageous if you also enjoy handling administrative tasks

Your profile

• You have completed training as a chef EFZ and bring valuable experience from à la carte restaurants
• As a member of our specialist team, you are a compassionate and open personality with a strong social awareness. You have the gift of motivating employees with disabilities and apprentices through your positive charisma and strengthening team spirit
• Thanks to your humour and high social competence, nothing easily unsettles you
• German is not a foreign language to you
• Impeccable reputation
