The Institute of Forensic Medicine examines living and deceased persons on behalf of the criminal investigation authorities from a forensic medical perspective. We are looking for a Reception Staff member from 15 November 2026 or by arrangement (60 - 100%, possibility of gradual increase)
Reception Staff
Tasks
- Professional operation of the telephone switchboard
- Care and reception of external guests, customers and suppliers
- Agenda management as well as maintenance of the address database including evaluations and statistics
- Correspondence in German and English as well as creation of letter templates
- Responsibility for a tidy and well-kept reception area and meeting rooms
- Responsible for postal dispatch
- Office supplies and printed materials management
- Completion of general office and secretarial tasks
- You will work in a team with mutual holiday cover (Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm), which requires a certain degree of time flexibility.
Profile
- Completed vocational training with experience in reception and administration
- Service-oriented, communicative and warm personality
- Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as strong social skills
- Structured and reliable working style and enjoyment in contact with people
- Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude and flexibility
