- Permanent position
- Wattenwil
About the job
From July/August 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a work educator at 50% in and Wattenwil.
We are expanding and developing our agogic specialist offer for adults with ASD and are therefore looking for new colleagues for our exciting, advanced work projects in an intensive support setting. We want to enable lifelong dignified work and life for all people who live at home with us.
Residents from very young to middle adulthood manage their everyday life with intense challenges that come with living with pronounced autism and additional cognitive impairment. They offer the chance to build trust in themselves and the environment and to discover their self-efficacy in activity.
You accompany 1-2 residents in work sequences. You offer activities from 30 minutes up to a maximum of 2 hours in the garden, nearby surroundings, and workshops. You work a lot in individually accompanied structured situations. The TEACCH approach forms the methodological orientation. You design appropriate work settings for this.
We offer:
- An exciting and versatile job with many opportunities for co-creation
- Great, humorous, and committed teams
- Careful onboarding
- Coordinated and fixed times for intensive individual support of residents on four mornings and two afternoons
- Salary and social benefits according to cantonal guidelines
- Participation in team retreats if needed
- Full day shifts without night watch/on-call duty
- Fixed working hours
We expect:
- Training as a work educator HFP / social pedagogy with a focus on work
- Enjoyment of open and constructive collaboration
- Willingness for specific agogic engagement
- Knowledge and skill in crafting and environmental work
- Willingness for fixed working hours without evening and weekend shifts
- Driver's license, category B desired
