Teamlead Business Intelligence (80-100%)

Have you already gained leadership experience, successfully managed projects and have a strong affinity for data, connections and strategic patterns? Do you want to ensure as a team lead that complex business decisions are based on a solid data foundation and actively shape a growing company rather than just manage it?

As Teamlead Business Intelligence, you are responsible for building, further developing and operating our business intelligence structures, laying the foundation for decisions that shape our growth and future as a company. Together with your team, you ensure that all relevant KPIs from e-commerce and logistics are accurately measured, displayed in dashboards, analysed and translated into concrete recommendations for action. In addition, you drive strategic projects forward that sustainably advance the company, are responsible for our pricing strategy, digitise processes and anticipate trends and market developments. Your challenge

• Responsibility for the further development of the BI and reporting landscape as well as for the professional enablement of the organisation in dealing with analysis tools and evaluations
• Analysis and interpretation of business data (sales, shopping cart, return rate, inventory turnover, delivery performance and much more) and derivation of concrete recommendations for action
• Leadership, coaching and development of a small team with enormous potential
• Management and control of cross-departmental projects on data-based issues, from planning to successful implementation
• Participation and increasing responsibility in strategic projects: market analyses, growth initiatives, make-or-buy decisions
• Responsibility for pricing: development and implementation of a competitive, digitised pricing strategy, as well as promotional planning and sales strategy
• Driving automation and AI solutions to standardise data flows, reporting processes and data preparation to enable maximum efficiency and scalability

What is important to us

• At least 3-4 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics or controlling, ideally in e-commerce or retail, as well as a university degree or comparable further education in an analytical field
• Proven experience in employee leadership: you have already led a team, promoted individual strengths and specifically developed employees
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to prepare complex data understandably and derive clear conclusions for different stakeholders
• Proven project management experience: you have independently planned, controlled and successfully completed cross-departmental projects
• Strong commercial thinking and a confident eye for sales potential, market opportunities and sensible priorities
• High self-motivation and real drive: you question the status quo and actively drive improvements
• Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in a growing company
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance, also towards management and specialist departments
• Solid knowledge of common BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker), statistics and e-commerce KPIs
