About the job

• Care and support of forensic patients taking into account their individual psychological needs.
• Active participation within the framework of the measure and in core team work, in close cooperation with therapeutic case management, in key processes for implementing therapy plans as well as in decisions relevant to relaxation measures.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Supporting patients in everyday life and promoting their independence.
• Planning and conducting milieu-therapeutic activities.
• Participation in interprofessional case discussions and documentation of treatment processes.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation measures in acute situations.
• Education and counselling of patients and their relatives.
• Active involvement in the vocational training of our HF and FAGE trainees.

• You have successfully completed training as a nursing specialist HF / FH (for foreign qualifications, recognition or a positive pre-check by the Swiss Red Cross is required).
• You have secure German language skills at least at C1 level.
• Professional experience in psychiatry, ideally in forensic nursing.
• High sense of responsibility and understanding of the special requirements in forensic nursing.
• Resilience and ability to act calmly and professionally in difficult and challenging situations.
• Team spirit and willingness to collaborate interprofessionally.
• IT skills facilitate administrative tasks and optimally utilise your organisational abilities.
