About the job
The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) department of the Migros Cooperative Federation leads and handles demanding transactions within the Migros Group. Our competent M&A advisory services include strategy assessment, company valuation, negotiation, and due diligences up to the contract documentation.
What you will achieve
- Managing advisory mandates in corporate finance, merger, and acquisition projects including transaction support
- Leading and conducting due diligence reviews
- Negotiation and support regarding pricing and contract design
- Financial analyses and company valuations, as well as participation in special projects
- Supporting decision-making in the relevant committees
What you bring
- Education: Completed degree (University/ETH, University of Applied Sciences, Higher Vocational School)
- Field: Business administration with a specialisation in finance during studies and further education in finance such as CFA or certified accounting expert
- Professional experience: Several years of relevant experience in the transaction environment and solid knowledge in company valuation and corporate finance, merger, and acquisition projects
- Broad experience in managing merger and acquisition transactions as overall project manager
- Specialisation in finance such as CFA or certified accounting expert
- Dynamic and independent personality with a consulting flair
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Proactive, initiative-taking, and independent personality
- German (C1)
