Modern Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is an owner-managed IT service company and has been successful for over 25 years with the full spectrum of IT solutions. Tailored to public administrations, energy suppliers and SMEs in the service sector, our partner employs around 100 staff and impresses with excellent industry and technology know-how.

The workplaces of tomorrow do not create themselves; they need someone who brings technology and customer needs together. That is exactly what the role of a Modern Workplace Engineer entails. You move confidently between software distribution, client management and practical problem solving. Project work and support go hand in hand for you, leaving room for your own ideas and development.
Responsibilities:
You implement customer projects in the workplace area and accompany their technical implementation
You take care of the operation and expansion of systems for software distribution and packaging
You actively contribute when new technologies in the workplace environment are tested and introduced
You take the lead of individual subprojects and keep an overview of deadlines and progress
Additionally, you are available as a contact person for technical concerns in 2nd level support
You also keep technical documents and documentation up to date
Qualifications:
A completed technical basic education, such as an IT specialist EFZ, forms your foundation, complemented by several years of professional experience
You already bring sound knowledge in client engineering
Experience with tools for software distribution and client management, such as Intune or similar solutions, is part of your toolkit
You are familiar with Microsoft technologies, especially Windows as a client operating system and Microsoft 365 (M365)
Customer and service orientation noticeably shape your working style
Additionally, you express yourself fluently in the local dialect and understand technical content in English; you also hold a driving licence and have your own car
