Application Manager (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the operation and further development of the commercial application landscape. You ensure that the systems used run stably, efficiently and user-friendly, and you coordinate releases, adjustments and optimisations. You work closely with departments and external partners to gather requirements, analyse them and translate them into viable solutions. You ensure professional incident and problem management and guarantee high availability of the applications. Additionally, you contribute your experience to continuously improve standards, processes and governance in application management.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the smooth operation of the applications Infor LN, OpenText StreamServe and Kendox
In this role, you take on 1st and 2nd level support for the departments
As Application Manager, you analyse disruptions, resolve them and coordinate external partners at 3rd level
You are responsible for customising and configuring the systems as well as releases, updates and changes including testing and documentation
In this role, you analyse existing business processes with the departments and implement optimisation potentials
As Application Manager, you participate in IT and business projects, lead project tasks and train internal staff
Qualifications:
You have completed basic training (apprenticeship or equivalent).
You have completed or are currently undertaking further training in business administration, computer science, business informatics or process management.
You work independently and in a structured manner and impress with strong communication skills and assertiveness.
You are characterised by great openness, willingness to learn and perseverance to acquire new expertise.
Ideally, you bring experience in the ERP, CCM or DMS environment, in project participation or project management, as well as an understanding of business processes and basic knowledge of interfaces, databases and system integration.
You communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written (at least level C1), and in English, both spoken and written (at least level B2).
