Due to the retirement of the current headteacher, we are seeking a committed individual as

Senior School Leadership from 1 August 2027

with the possibility of additional teaching hours Are you looking for a leadership role with scope for creativity and responsibility? Do you value short communication lines, open collaboration, and exchange within a dedicated leadership team? Then Wartau might be the right place for you.

In the municipality of Wartau, around 700 children and young people attend schools from kindergarten to senior school. At the Seidenbaum Senior School Centre in Trübbach, 190 pupils are currently taught in 13 classes (including two small classes) by a total of 25 teachers.

Your role

• You will lead the senior school in educational, personnel, organisational, and financial matters,
• lead and support staff with appreciation, clarity, and prudence,
• work closely with the school leadership team and the school authority, and
• communicate proactively and represent the school convincingly externally.

You bring with you

• a confident demeanour and strong communication skills,
• an educational basic qualification and experience in primary education (ideally at the target level),
• training as a headteacher (CAS) or willingness to complete this promptly,
• enthusiasm for leadership, school development, and shaping,
• decisiveness, assertiveness, and organisational talent, as well as
• the ability to maintain perspective and humour even in challenging situations.
