Authentication & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You are looking for a challenge where you can apply your skills in security engineering. In this role, you take responsibility for developing and implementing security solutions tailored to the individual needs of customers. You bring your broad knowledge in the security environment, Linux, networking and general IT infrastructure topics to create innovative solutions. You are used to working with customers and employees and use your skills to solve complex problems. You have a solid university of applied sciences degree in computer science and proven professional experience in security and systems engineering.
Responsibilities:
You work in varied customer environments and projects
In this role, you design security solutions for applications and platforms
As an Authentication & Security Engineer, you develop modern IAM and authentication solutions
You strengthen existing system landscapes through application security and hardening
In this role, you work with architects and developers to implement security technologies
You advise customers technically and develop solutions for operations
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science
You have experience in IAM and web authentication such as OpenID Connect, OAuth or SAML
You have basics in network security such as firewalling, routing, switching or VPN
You have knowledge of cryptographic methods, their application areas and weaknesses, such as PKI or OpenSSL
You possess analytical thinking, a structured working method and enjoy collaborating with customers and development teams
You bring very good German and English skills
