You take responsibility for complex digital products where professional quality, economic factors, regulatory requirements, and technological developments interact. You give your products a clear direction, make well-founded decisions, and ensure together with the involved teams that sustainable solutions arise from a product strategy.
Responsibilities:
You take end-to-end responsibility for your products – from vision and strategy through to launch and continuous development.
You develop a clear product strategy and roadmap and coordinate these with portfolio management, business owners, and relevant stakeholders.
You manage costs, budgets, and priorities and ensure that investments are comprehensible and economically sensible.
You prepare costs, benefits, and impacts of product decisions transparently, creating a solid basis for decision-making.
You align regulatory requirements, customer needs, technical possibilities, and available resources.
You identify early legal changes, new customer requirements, and technological developments and derive appropriate product measures.
You define future product features, epics, and features and represent the professional perspective to the involved departments.
You work closely with agile development teams and ensure high-quality and timely implementation.
You regularly coordinate with customers, development, architecture, testing, UX, and operations.
You moderate challenging goal conflicts and find viable solutions even under complex conditions.
You support and coach product managers and junior product managers professionally.
You actively develop product management methods, standards, and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
You have a higher education qualification at HF, FH, or university level in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field.
You bring at least five years of successful experience in product management of complex digital products, ideally in enterprise content management.
You have experience collaborating with or managing user experience and/or solution design.
You are accustomed to confidently navigating professionally, regulatorily, or organisationally complex situations.
You can evaluate different options and make well-founded, sustainable decisions even under uncertainty.
You have solid experience with agile product development and Scrum; knowledge of SAFe® is an advantage.
You bring experience in stakeholder management in complex organisational and system landscapes.
You work analytically and structured and can quickly grasp and clearly communicate complex contexts.
You have a high quality standard and act customer- and solution-oriented.
You have very good German skills at least at C1 level; additional national languages are an advantage.
