The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. The Service Centre, as the service centre of the IV Office Bern, ensures that processes, services and benefits are provided efficiently, uniformly and with high quality.
The Benefits & Billing team ensures the efficient processing of invoices and benefit claims. In your role as a clerk, you ensure that benefits are paid out in accordance with the legal basis.
What you can achieve with us
- You ensure that invoices in the IV area are carefully checked and benefits can be paid quickly, correctly and transparently.
- You check invoices not only formally but also in terms of content: you recognise whether services correspond to the cost approval, whether tariffs have been applied correctly and whether everything is fully documented.
- You independently clarify queries, communicate clearly with internal and external contacts and contribute to the rapid resolution of open issues.
- You are an important contact person for insured persons, doctors, hospitals, aid suppliers and other partners and make a direct contribution to reliable and customer-oriented service through your work.
Which skills are important to us
- You have completed training in the commercial or paramedical field and ideally have 1-2 years of professional experience.
- Friendly and clear communication in German and spoken French (B1) characterise you.
- With a committed and responsible working style, you keep an overview even in stressful situations and set priorities profitably for our clients.
- Empathy, appreciation and collegiality are a matter of course for you.
- Thanks to your flexibility, you remain calm even in hectic moments.
- You are motivated to contribute to this exciting task.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so active knowledge of the respective other language is desirable.
Benefits
Working hours:
Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
Holidays:
At least 25 days of holiday per year, 28 days from the age of 45 and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave
Salary:
Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and transparent salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military, civil protection and civil service
Social insurance:
Above-average contribution to the Bernese pension fund, payment of half the premium for non-occupational accident, supplementary accident and daily sickness allowance insurance
