IT Support Team Lead (m/f/d)

Role:
You lead people, improve services, and keep an overview even in complex support situations? We are looking for a leader who combines operational excellence with modern service organisation and purposefully develops a high-performance support team.
Responsibilities:
Technical and personnel leadership of a multi-level IT support team with over 10 employees
Development of a modern, customer-oriented support organisation
Planning of resources, deployments, capacities, and training
Regular employee discussions, feedback sessions, and individual development measures
Promotion of employees based on their strengths and professional potential
Management and support in complex incidents and escalations
Ensuring professional 1st and 2nd level support
Responsibility for the quality and availability of 1st level support within demanding enterprise environments
Analysis of recurring faults and initiation of sustainable improvement measures
Further development of support processes, knowledge base, documentation, and service standards
Conducting support reviews, service briefings, and quality analyses
Establishment of clear KPIs to measure service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Close cooperation with application management, engineering, project teams, and external technology partners
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
Experience in leading IT professionals or support staff
Practical experience in a comparable role within a demanding IT or enterprise environment
Experience with ERP systems, business applications, or complex software platforms
Strong organisational skills and enjoyment of structured deployment and resource planning
Analytical thinking with an eye for connections and causes
High social competence and a confident, appreciative leadership style
Resilience and decisiveness even in critical support situations
Strong customer and service orientation
Enjoyment in developing teams while simultaneously taking operational responsibility
