You are the person who turns complex IT systems into reliable platforms. You think in networks, recognise optimisation potential, and want not only to fix faults but to sustainably improve technical solutions. Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the reliable operation of business-critical IT platforms and central system services
Further development of the system architecture with a focus on stability, performance, and security
Support of server landscapes based on Windows and Linux
Configuration and optimisation of network, firewall, storage, and virtualisation components
Management of modern workplace and identity services in the Microsoft 365 environment
Analysis of system events, performance issues, and recurring error causes
Development of efficient operational processes through scripting, automation, and technical standards
Support of technology evaluations, system migrations, and infrastructure renewals
Support of internal stakeholders with demanding technical questions
Qualifications:
Solid IT training, for example as an EFZ computer scientist, or equivalent practical qualification
Experience in engineering or operation of Windows- and Linux-based system landscapes
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and modern identity and access models
Sound technical understanding of TCP/IP networks, firewalls, storage, and virtualisation
Interest in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, scripting, and standardised operating models
Ability to systematically narrow down faults and quickly grasp technical contexts
High initiative, quality awareness, and confident handling of demanding situations
Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
