The Department of Security and Health is responsible for the town office, civil protection, fire brigade, as well as the town police. The latter significantly shapes the image of our town administration. The Schlieren town police ensure an orderly and peaceful coexistence.
For our corps with 14 employees, we are looking for a
Police Officer 100 %
Your main tasks- Taking on comprehensive tasks in the areas of security, traffic, and administrative policing, namely maintaining peace, order, and safety
- Monitoring various laws and reporting detected violations
- Investigating, clarifying, and reporting criminal acts
- Monitoring and controlling stationary and moving road traffic
- Handling administrative tasks in the police sector
- Close cooperation with the cantonal police and the Dietikon town police
Your profile
- Police officer with a federal professional certificate
- Good general education and IT skills, especially in police investigation and search systems
- Enjoyment in dealing with people and working in a role with varying demands
- Good communication skills and good manners
- Very good written and spoken German skills
- High level of teamwork and willingness to work shifts (3-shift system, 365 days/year)
- Swiss citizenship and an impeccable reputation
