The SPT Group is an internationally active, medium-sized corporate group with more than 1,000 employees and locations in Switzerland, China, Singapore and the Philippines.

To strengthen our Corporate Finance team, we are looking for a Senior Group Accountant (m/f/d). In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Finance and take on a central role in the Group Accounting of the SPT Group.

You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for the group consolidation of an internationally positioned corporate group and actively help shape the further development of our group finance structures and processes.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the monthly and annual group consolidation according to Swiss GAAP FER in LucaNet
• Review and plausibility checks of the financial data of our international group companies including intercompany reconciliations
• Contact person for the local finance teams on questions regarding group accounting, reporting and consolidation
• Support with accounting and valuation issues according to Swiss GAAP FER
• Coordination of the group audit and collaboration with external auditors
• Active participation in the further development of the Group Accounting Manual and the internal control system (ICS)
• Further development and standardisation of group-wide accounting, closing and reporting processes
• Active involvement in group-wide finance projects and implementation in all companies.

Your profile

• Degree or comparable qualification with a focus on accounting, finance or business administration
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, group accounting or auditing
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting; experience with Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS and/or US GAAP and consolidation is an advantage
• Experience with LucaNet and/or proALPHA is a plus
• Very good analytical skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Hands-on mentality and motivation to take responsibility and actively develop processes
• Very good German and English skills
