In this versatile role at PFIFFNER Schaltgeräte AG in Hirschthal / AG you combine technical know-how with service orientation and entrepreneurial thinking.

You are the central contact person for all IT matters at our locations Hirschthal, Sissach and Grenchen as well as at our sister company HAVECO. You ensure a stable and secure IT infrastructure, competently support around 80 users in their daily work and actively drive the further development and harmonisation of our IT landscape. In doing so, you work closely with the IT manager of Pfiffner Messwandler AG, utilise synergies within the group and represent each other.

The role combines broad technical responsibility from server and network to Microsoft 365 with direct contact to employees, cross-location collaboration and genuine scope for creativity in a growing company.

What you do

• Responsibility for the entire IT infrastructure of Pfiffner Schaltgeräte AG (locations Hirschthal, Sissach and Grenchen) as well as HAVECO AG
• Ensuring smooth operation, maintenance and documentation of the IT infrastructure, as well as its further development
• Central point of contact for all IT concerns of the supported companies and locations (1st and 2nd level support)
• Ensuring mutual representation and workload balancing with the system administrator of Pfiffner Messwandler AG, Hirschthal

What you bring

• Completed IT training or equivalent professional experience, ideally with further training in system or network technology
• Several years of experience in 1st/2nd level support as well as in the administration of Windows server and client environments
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID as well as network topics (DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WLAN) and IT security
• Experience with backup solutions, ticket systems and managing external service providers
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style, clear communication and good priority management
• Very good German skills, good English skills (at least B2)
• Driving licence category B and willingness to travel regularly to the locations
