Tasks
- Teach Religionsunterricht Zyklus 1 and 2 according to LeRUKa.
- Prepare students for Erstkommunion and Versöhnungsweg.
- Assist in Schulgottesdiensten and engage in our community.
Skills
- Training as Katechet/in for Modula, Religionsdiplom, or willingness to train.
- Strong faith rooted in the Röm.-kath. Kirche.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and families.

About the job
Due to the retirement of our long-standing catechist, we are looking from 1 August 2026 in the Pastoral Area Lower Entlebuch in the parishes of Doppleschwand, Entlebuch and Romoos for a catechist approx. 50% (due to the different locations, the position can also be divided between two people)
Your tasks
- Teaching religious education Cycle 1 and 2 according to LeRUKa
- Preparation for First Communion
- Preparation for the reconciliation path
- Preparation for Confirmation
- Assistance with school services and appropriate commitment in our pastoral area
We wish for
- Training as a catechist for Modula, religious diploma or willingness to complete the training
- Rootedness in faith and a positive relationship with the Roman Catholic Church
- The will and ability to teach according to the new LeRUKa curriculum
- Spiritual and social skills in dealing with children
- Joy in discovering and living the Christian faith together with the children
- Team spirit and flexibility in cooperation with the catechesis and pastoral team, with teachers and parents
